The brief

Develop a responsive microsite with a smooth, animated carousel component showcasing the wines of Terlato.

What I built

  1. 01Created a custom bottle carousel using JavaScript and CSS transitions with fade-in/fade-out effects.
  2. 02Implemented automatic slide cycling with timed intervals and pause-on-hover functionality.
  3. 03Built manual navigation controls (next/prev arrows and clickable indicators) with accessible focus states.
  4. 04Ensured all carousel content was mobile-first and optimized for touch interaction and swipe support.
  5. 05Included lazy loading logic to improve performance.
