The brief

Rebuild and standardize the front-end of a legacy microsite, addressing dependency issues and improving code quality for future maintenance.

What I built

  1. 01Managed and resolved critical dependency conflicts by downgrading and pinning package versions.
  2. 02Debugged and resolved a `node-gyp` build failure by configuring the local environment to support native C/C++ bindings.
  3. 03Streamlined the codebase by removing dependencies (e.g., dotenv) and simplifying the Webpack configuration.
  4. 04Identified and fixed a complex CSS bug where a flexbox footer conflicted with a dynamic JavaScript carousel.
  5. 05Standardized and optimized the front-end code to ensure smooth deployment and long-term maintainability.
